We're thrilled to publish a demo of Globs, a new puzzle game that we've been working on! Inspired by the amazing 45x45 puzzle by Thomas Colthurst, Globs challenges you to find hidden connections between words by grouping them together one by one. It's available in both English and German.

How to Play

Globs presents you with a grid of 48 tiles, each containing a clue. Your goal is to find all 12 groups of 4 related clues. Here's how it works:

  1. Click tiles to select them — When you click a tile, it highlights. Click another tile from the same group to merge them together.
  2. Merge tiles to form groups — When you merge tiles from the same category, they combine into a single tile showing all the words in that group.
  3. Complete groups — Once you've merged all 4 clues from a category, the tile turns gold and displays the category name with star emojis indicating the difficulty level: 1 star for easy, 2 for medium, 3 for hard, and 4 for very hard.
  4. Watch your hearts — You start with 10 hearts. Each wrong guess (trying to merge tiles from different groups) costs you one heart. If you run out of hearts, the game ends and all groups are revealed.
  5. Win the game — Find all 12 groups to complete the puzzle!
